Pavé and the Festival

The Festival normally takes place for one day in February. However, dates vary from year to year. Here are the next dates:

Before the Festival:
You can tell that the Festival is just around the corner by taking a stroll through the village. In fact, from February 1 until the eve of the event, the Nook Shop is selling festival-themed furniture and the Able Sisters are selling festival-themed clothing.
What to do on Festival Day
On Festival day, you'll notice confetti falling from the sky. Have a chat with Pavé, who's standing in front of the town hall. Pavé will ask you for three feathers of a specific color - either a blue feather, a green feather, a purple feather or a red feather - that can be found floating around the island. Simply catch them with a net.
Once you've returned all the feathers and feather colors requested by Pavé, it's possible to receive rewards from him. It's also possible to receive a recipe from him for making a rainbow feather.
Bring him a rainbow feather or 3 feathers of the same color to receive a random item from the Carnaval series. After handing over feathers nine times with Pavé, he'll ask you to bring him three rainbow feathers. As a reward, you'll receive the Festival float and Pavé will start dancing wildly.
Additional information
- During the event, locals will wear accessories or clothes with a Festival theme.
- It's possible to trade feathers with villagers, simply by talking to them. To find out what color feather they're exchanging, just look at the color of their clothing.
