Redd's Paintings & Statues - It is real or fake?
To complete the museum, at some point, you'll need to buy the paintings and sculptures from Redd. Unfortunately, there are counterfeits in Redd's store. In this guide, we'll list the real and fake paintings/sculptures.
This ACNH character will appear on his boat called the "Treasure Trawler" once you've progressed far enough in the adventure and given Blathers several insects, fish and sea creatures.

List of fake paintings
The original is Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man. You'll notice that the fake has a stain in the top right-hand corner.
In Leonardo da Vinci's fake Mona Lisa, the problem appear in the eyebrows.
You'll find the wrong painting, The Milkmaid, by Johannes Vermeer, with the amount of milk coming out of the jug.
This painting is Thomas Gainsborough's Blue Child. In the forgery, the child has bangs.
The painting called Ajisai Sōkeizu by Itō Jakuchū has blue flowers, while the fake one is purple.
The eyebrows on Toshusai Sharaku's copy of Otani Onji II point upwards on the inside.
The tree behind Sandro Botticelli's fake Birth of Venus is missing.
Silk painting of a bijin, by Moronobu. On the counterfeit, the woman doesn't turn her head.
In the wrong painting of Hunters in the Snow, by Pieter Brueghel the Elder, there is a man missing on the right.
This painting is Rembrandt's Night Watch. In the wrong painting, the man in the center has no hat.
In the fake painting of Giuseppe Arcimboldo's Summer, the flower in the lower right is missing.
The color of the animal in Leonardo da Vinci's Lady with an Ermine is gray in the forgery.

The color of Tawaraya Sōtatsu's God of Thunder is blue in the forgery.
Wild Painting Right Half
The color of Tawaraya Sōtatsu's God of the Wind is white in the forgery.
Detecting Diego Velazquez's fake painting Les Ménines is more complicated. You'll notice that the arm of the figure at the back in the door is up in the fake.
The earring in Johannes Vermeer's painting of The Girl with the Pearl is star-shaped.
