In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you'll quickly need to find basic resources in order to complete various missions and constructions. In this guide, we'll explain how to find these materials.

Here's a list of the basic resources available in-game.

*It's advisable to collect as many resources as possible at the start of the game, as you'll need to build several things.

Here are the basic resources available at the start of the game:

• Tree branch
• Wood
• Hardwood
• Softwood
• Stone
• Iron nugget
• Gold nugget

• Wasp nest
• Boot (when fishing, the fishing rod must be unlocked)
• Empty can (when fishing, the fishing rod must be unlocked)
• Old tire (when fishing, the rod must be unlocked)

• Piece of bamboo

• New types of flowers
• New types of fruit

Here's a list of resources you can find when you meet special characters:

• Transmitter circuit (Found on the beach, Gulliver will then ask you to bring him 5. A jet of water appears from the sand)
• Rusted circuits (You can find them in the disposal container in the Resident Services building after a visit to Gulliver, or if you've kept the transmitter circuits with you).
• Pearl (You can find them by diving or by giving a scallop to Pascal)
