Ultra Ball

An ultra-performance ball with a higher catch rate than a Great Ball.

The Ultra Ball is an item for catching Pokémon, increasing the capture rate of a Pokémon by 2 compared to the Poké Ball. When you select a Pokémon on the map, you must select the Ultra Ball to use it to catch the Pokémon. The Hyper Ball is a rarer item than other Pokéballs.

You'll find Ultra Balls in PokéStops, arenas, as a raid reward, in Field Research missions, passing levels 20 to 40, and in gifts.

Ultra Balls can be used in Pokémon Go Plus+ manual actions.

To increase the number of experiences gained when catching a Pokémon, you can make a throwable effect by holding your finger over the Ultra Ball and rotating it to see an effect. Once you can see the effect, you can throw it, and it will be curved.
