Main Missions
In this guide to Starfield's main missions, we'll explain how to complete each mission in the game. This guide will help you find the items, quests and choices you need to make during your adventure.
Starfield's main story is made up of 19 main missions, which will keep you busy for around 30 to 40 hours. You'll be able to view quest tracking and objectives in your journal at any time. You can use the scanner with LB to display a line on the ground indicating your objective.
Please note that artifact locations are random, and each player will have a different location, but they are indicated on your map.
You'll have several decisions to make during your adventure, on the whole, they're not very important with the exception of the decision in mission 11 - High Price to Pay. The choice of whether or not to be peaceful will only impact the following objectives, but will not affect the story. Also, some characters have important dialogue choices to build a relationship with, you can consult our guide to character relationships.
