The Kitakami Mask Festival

In this story guide for Pokémon Scarlet / Violet's The Teal Mask DLC, you'll find the complete Walkthrough to the "The Kitakami Mask Festival" game, and the location of Trainers, Pokémon, TCs and items you'll encounter along the way.

Now join Kieran and Carmine in Mossui Town. Their home is located to the northwest, behind the community center.

A stage will begin in which you'll be dressed for the festival. You'll also get the Teal Style Card, which allows you to buy these clothes in boutiques and hair salons.

Then join the two characters near their hut to collect a mask. Unfortunately, there will only be two of them, and Carmine will want to challenge you.

Carmine will have an extra Pokemon in her team, and her Poltchageist will be changed to Sinistcha. Beware of this Pokemon, which will be the most formidable in its team. Use Fire, Flight or Darkness attacks. Swadloon is a very weak Pokémon when it comes to fire and flying attacks. Morpeko can be eliminated quickly with Ground, Insect or Fairy attacks.

Once the fight's over, head to Kitakami Hall where you'd picked up the second panel. Climb the stairs to start a scene. Head to the apple stand to talk to Kieran. Then climb the two staircases to talk to Kieran in front of a red building on your right.

You'll then start a game called La Chasse aux Ogre Oustin'. The aim of this game is to pop balloons to collect one of four berries. Once you've got enough berries, return to the start of the course to drop the berries into the corresponding bins. You'll need to make several waves to complete this game. Beware: during the last wave, Pokémon will come and eat from the bins.  Upon completing this game, you'll get various items as rewards including the ExP Charm which is an item giving your Pokémon more experience after a battle.

You'll then see a Pokémon in child's clothing watching you. Follow it close to the sign to talk to it. After Carmine's intervention, the Pokémon will run away again. Keep following it to retrieve its The Teal Mask. 

After your conversation with Carmine, you'll be free to explore the Festival. When you've finished, talk to Kieran at the entrance so you can go to bed and wake up the next day.

Exit the community center and head to Kieran and Carmine's house to talk to their Grandfather. Show The Teal Mask and talk to him a second time to learn about the history of the Loyal Threeand Ogrepon.
