First Signpost

Head west out of Mossui Town and to the left to approach the rice fields. You'll meet a couple looking out over the town. O'Nare will challenge you to a fight, and you'll need to talk to him to start it.

This Pokémon can be eliminated quickly with a Fighting-type attack. Be warned: this Pokémon is fast and can take one or two hits before you win the battle.
After defeating it, the two characters will tell you about Paldea's "waterfall". Return to the road to cross an apple field. Characters are located in this field, but neither will confront you. Walking between the trees you may be struck by Applin's fall. Continue on your way to meet a trainer.

Applin will be sensitive to Fairy-type attacks, and the Ice type will do 4x more damage.

Like the first Poochyena you faced earlier, this one will be weak with Fairy, Insect or Combat type. Seedot, on the other hand, is sensitive to Insect attacks, which do 4x more damage.
Before reaching Loyalty Plaza, speak to the character to receive an update for your phone. You'll now be able to change your menu frames to match the color of your phone case.
Enter the park and read the triangle sign to learn more about The Loyal Three. You'll then get to the next destination to reach the north-east of Mossui Town.
