How to play in multiplayer mode

Multiplayer mode will be available in Coral Island. However, according to the information currently available, multiplayer mode will only be available from the first update after the release of early access. 

It will be possible to play Coral Island in co-op mode in one of 2 multiplayer modes:

1. Online multiplayer mode 

For this mode, each player must have his or her own device, copy of the game and controller.

2. Split-screen local multiplayer mode

For this mode, up to 4 players will be supported. This means the screen can be split into 4 sections. 

In 2021, the developers decided to create a Kickstarter to raise funds and finance the development of Coral Island. People welcomed the project with open arms, as Stairway Games has raised over $1.6 million to date. With the great success of the Kickstarter, the developers have announced that they will be rolling out the multiplayer mode. 

As mentioned above, according to the information currently available, multiplayer mode will only be available from the first update after the release of early access.
