In the Shadow of the Estate

In this walkthrough for Hogwarts Legacy, we'll give you the complete tutorial for the main quest: In the Shadow of the Estate.

Meet Sebastian Pallow in Feldcroft, located to the southwest on the Hogwarts map. He'll take you to his uncle, where you'll meet his sister Anne. A cinematic appears in front of you in which you observe a rather hectic interaction between Sebastian and his uncle. Talk to Anne and Solomon. 

Then head for Sebastian. He will direct you to the place where Anne was cursed by the goblins. On the way, you'll encounter an ambush of ennemies. Attack them to clear the way and progress. 

Once there, Sebastian will tell you what happened, and how Anne came to be cursed. You'll see that the goblins must have done this to Anne because she appeared at the wrong time. The goblins must have been hiding something. It's up to you to search the estate for clues. Use the Revelio spell to find clues more easily. Head inside the destroyed house and you'll find that it once belonged to a former Hogwarts teacher. Then investigate the portrait. 

Turn behind you to find a pile of stones and use the Repulso spell to clear the way. You'll see a staircase on your right. 

Once downstairs, pick up the extracts from Isidora Morganach's diary nearby. Explore the room and use the Repulso spell to topple the bookcase and free the passage. On the other side, you'll find a large mirror and a portal that appears to lead to the crypt. Talk to Sebastian to share your findings. 

Once inside the crypt, you'll see an ancient magic symbol revealing a piece of paper containing a message and symbols. Retrieve it and show it to Sebastian. 

And so the quest: In the Shadow of the Estate comes to an end, making way for your next main quest in Hogwarts Legacy: Astronomy Class.
