The Room of Requirement

In this walkthrough for Hogwarts Legacy, we'll give you the complete tutorial for the main quest: The Room of Requirement.

Start by finding Professor Weasley. You'll suddenly find yourself in a secret room. Follow Professor Weasley as she explains that the Room of Requirement only appears when you really need it. You'll also meet Cheek, the house elf.

• Explore to open the chests and use Revelio to identify them more easily. 

Professor Weasley will teach you the Evanesco spell, which you can use to make objects blocking your path disappear, for example. Continue to follow Professor Weasley. Collect the letters on the floor.

Then explore the surrounding area. Use the Evanesco spell to remove the chair mountain blocking your path. Keep moving forward. 

You'll see a box that seems to glow if you use Revelio. Use Accio to pull the box outwards. The box will serve as a platform to climb to the top and open the chest inside. Climb down the right-hand side and continue on your way.

Use the Evanesco spell again to remove the 3rd, 4th and 5th chair mountains blocking your path. Also collect the letters in your path.

You'll come across another box. Move it and use your spells to retrieve a chest. Then continue on your way.

At the far end of the room, you'll meet Deek. The elf will explain that the room you're in can be everything you need. You've entered this room as the Hidden Objects Room. However, this room will become your personal room. 

You'll also learn about a new feature in the game, the Desk of Description. This desk will allow you to reveal the magical properties of any unidentified equipment you've recovered. 

In addition, Professor Weasley will teach you the summoning spell. This spell will enable you to summon objects in your personal room. * If you want to summon more complex objects, you'll need a Spellcraft. 

The potting and potion tables set up in your personal room will enable you to grow plants that will be useful for making potions or Mallowsweet for Merlin's Trials, for example. 

And so the Room of Requirement quest comes to an end, making way for your next main quest in Hogwarts Legacy: In the Shadow of the Undercroft.
